Welcome to The Arts Society Abingdon

We have moved to a new venue for our monthly lectures - The Abbey Cinema, Abbey Close, Abingdon OX14 3JD, which is in the centre of the town.  Lectures take place in the Cinema on the third Wednesday of the month, except in August and December, at 10.30 and then repeated at 14.00.  A link to Zoom will be sent to every member 24 hours before the scheduled talk for those members unable to attend in person. 

Visitors to our lectures in the Abbey Cinema are welcome but if as a visitor you require a Zoom link prior booking is essential so please contact  info@theartssocietyabingdon.org.uk.  Fee for a visitor is £8

In our new programme beginning April 2024 we offer members 10 monthly lectures.  Details and information on how to access them are on the Lectures page of this website. 

We also offer a programme for Visits, Study Days, Holidays and other Events.  Please see relevant pages on our website

Our aim is to encourage interest and appreciation of the arts, primarily through a programme of monthly lectures and regular visits.
